Local products and tradition but also creativity, flavors and emotions…
A winning mix for a new initiative conceived by Mauro Nardelli of the Bosco dei pini neri restaurant in Pozza di Trambileno and included in “We-food, a weekend discovering the factories of taste” in collaboration with the VeneziePost portal. An initiative that brought about fifty university students from all over Italy to Vallagarina for a journey to discover the products .
It was a journey that touched on several stops (from Val di Gresta with Naturgresta and Gelmini farm to Rovereto with the Zaffiro pastry shop) to land at the Black Pines where Nardelli invited the Stofiss Confraternity of Friars and the newly formed Probusto Confraternity (both from Rovereto) as well as Massimo Falqui Massidda of Maso Garten farm with essential oils, horticultural and freeze-dried plants from wild harvests.
And while Nardelli told about the area, participants were involved in a game to bring out, starting with a drawing by Rita Cristoforetti, their emotions through a composition just with the products of the land or processed such as the “fanzelto” long promoted by the restaurateur (and Asat Rovereto and Vallagarina president) from Trambileno.
