WeFood: a weekend in the Taste Factories

On Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, companies from all over Italy will open their doors to visitors for the new edition of WeFood, the most important event celebrating the food and wine excellence of the territories and the companies that produce goods and services for the catering world. WeFood is the format that every year attracts thousands of lovers and enthusiasts of the culinary world directly inside the companies, with showcooking, conferences, guided tours and workshops.

The following are eligible to participate in WeFood

  • wine production houses
  • craft breweries
  • producers of local specialties: cold cuts and meats, cheeses and dairy products, breads and cakes, legumes and vegetables, oils, etc.
  • producers of high-quality foodstuffs
  • Manufacturers of kitchens and other kitchen furnishings
  • Manufacturers of ovens, hobs, blast chillers and other technological equipment for use in the kitchen

Becoming Taste Factory

Companies can participate in WeFood through different ways. If interested in participating, it will be possible to organize guided tours, showcooking, cooking workshops, seminars or talks. On the day and at the times of one’s preference, each company will offer a diverse program of activities, so as to create a true narrative of the food and wine culture and industry. The format

On the weekend of Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, WeFood companies will open their doors to tell the story of their productions through the ways that best suit each, such as:

  • Guided tours
  • Showcooking
  • Cooking workshops
  • Conferences
  • Workshops

Organization

Our team will take care of the direction of the entire event through:

  • Advising in the program-setting activity of each company
  • selection and presence of chefs in participating companies
  • selection and presence of authors, journalists or other speakers in companies wishing to organize talks, conferences or debates
  • Event promotion and communication activities
  • Collection of registrations and reservations through the event website

Individual companies will take charge of coordinating the events at their locations, taking care of the logistics of the speakers and organizing the reception of the audience.

Communication

The participation of participating companies in WeFood and the entire event will be enhanced in various ways:

  • Assistance in establishing the program of activities
  • Publication of a company fact sheet on the website
  • Regional and national press office activities
  • Social media: dissemination of posts and tweets dedicated to the company
  • Activities to register the public on the site and transmit the names to the company concerned

Participation fee

The participation fee for each individual company is 500 euros + VAT for the services indicated here. Depending on the specifics of each individual company, total or partial forms of commodity exchange can be assumed.
